In the context of a desktop app, you can have a look at the way we did it with the Windows uploader -- the "Switch users?" functionality in there is good to replicate (allows you to add and remove auth'd users).

What that means is that you need to be able to delete their auth token from your app.  They don't need to log out of Flickr, they just need to be able to log out of your app so that if someone else sits down, it's not automatically logged in as them.  If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me. :)
