Searching geographical area with bbox: no results, but photos exist

Hello everybody,

I'm new to this and theres gotta be something I am not getting here:

I want to display pictures from an area defined in bbox, heres my
request: 
http://api.flickr.com/services/rest/?method=flickr.photos.search&api_key=xxx&bbox=7.10%2C46.95%2C9.32%2C49.15&accuracy=12&extras=geo

which returns 0 photos.

However, when I add the tag argument (filled with a tag I know my
picture has), the photo is returned. Here the new request:

http://api.flickr.com/services/rest/?method=flickr.photos.search&api_key=xxx&bbox=7.10%2C46.95%2C9.32%2C49.15&accuracy=12&extras=geo&tags=honk


I am not quite sure what I am doing incorrectly or if this is the
right way to accomplish what I want to do, any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks
