Subject: Complex boolean queries in "flickr.photos.search" - msg#00041

List: web.flickr.api

Date: Prev Next Index Thread: Prev Next Index
¿There is any way to construct complex boolean queries, with parentheses,
different boolean operators at the same query, etc. using the method
"flickr.photos.search"?
If it is not possible, I think It's a very desirable feature for the
search method.

Re: Generating page URLs containing 'friendly' NSIDs

Is there any API that will give me the mapping of an NSID to its 'friendly' equivalent (in my case "41894174966@N01" to "fraserspeirs"), so that I can generate the nicer URL: www.flickr.com/photos/fraserspeirs/10044771/ Try flickr.urls.getUserPhotos and flickr.urls.getUserProfile.

Describing an empty title in upload

Is it possible to somehow do an upload and explicitly tell Flickr that I want the resulting title to be blank? Right now, if you don't send 'title' with the upload, Flickr seems to interpret the filename of the image as the Flickr title. This sometimes gets confusing for FlickrExport users. Generating page URLs containing 'friendly' NSIDs

I'm working on some code where I have the ID of the image and the ID of the account that owns the image and I want to generate the URL for the image's page. It seems the best I can do is: www.flickr.com/photos/USER_NSID/PHOTO_ID for example www.flickr.com/photos/41894174966@N01/10044771/ Is there any API that will give me the mapping of an NSID to its 'friendly' equivalent (in my case "41894174966@N01" to "fraserspeirs"), so that I can generate the nicer URL: www.flickr.com/photos/fraserspeirs/10044771/ Thanks, Fraser smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature _______________________________________________ Flickr-APIs mailing list Flickr-APIs-PH6dntW41FXEJFt6QFEIHw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.iamcal.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/flickr-apis
