Subject: flickRate: rate flickr photos according to originality and aesthetics - msg#00124

List: web.flickr.api

Date: Prev Next Index Thread: Prev Next Index
Hi,

as I said earlier on the "Flickr API" group[1], I have been working these days on a system which let anyone rate flickr photos according to originality and aesthetics, and provide a hit parade: flickRate[2]. It uses the REST API thanks to the PHP PEAR::Flickr library.

It is inspired by photo.net's system.

Registration is not yet open (it should be in a few hours), but I would like to know if it is something people want to have. I may for example add more rating areas, if anyone can suggest some relevant.

Glimmr-0.5.5 Released

Hi Flickr devs and users, I've just released Glimmr-0.5.5, which will probably be the last bugfix release in the 0.5.5 (no serious bugs pending). This release is mostly UI tidying, threading and generally getting the 'feel' right and any comments would of course be appreciated on this release. Now that I'm reasonably happy with the stability of 0.5.5, I'll be looking to implement some new features for 0.6.0. One thing will be image rotations (clockwise/counter/180), which should be useful for portrait shots. Perhaps also a black and white filter? Does anyone have any suggestions or features they'd like to see implemented? Thanks for this great service, and to anyone using Glimmr - thanks. -- Mike Gardiner (Obz) ------------------- irc.freenode.org/#gentoo-dev #gentoo-desktop obz-aBrp7R+bbdUdnm+yROfE0A@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.gentoo.org signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part _______________________________________________ Flickr-APIs mailing list Flickr-APIs-PH6dntW41FXEJFt6QFEIHw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.iamcal.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/flickr-apis
