flickr.user.login?
I understand the purpose of flickr.test.login to be simple - a
successful return value means the login worked, an error means it
failed. Adding more than this seems like an abuse of the method.
Something more like flickr.user.getInfo might be better, and would open
the door to viewing/editing private profile information through the API...
Of course, that's pretty close to flickr.people.getInfo... so if there
was a flickr.people.getNsidFromEmail (or something similar), a user
could look up their own NSID, and then use that for subsequent method calls.

p.s. Hi Michele! Nice to see you on this list. Seeing your name brings
back memories of when I didn't have much of a web presence and the first
result for "Abe Fettig" on Google was the Moleskine changelog... :-)
