[Flickr APIs] flickr.people Search by name?: msg#00012web.flickr.api
flickr.photos.search allows you to specify the user_id to narrow the search down. That is handy but from a users perspective a user name is much more useable than an id. I realize there could be privacy issues but is there any chance flickr.people will get a search method which allows a name parameter and returns the user_id? Otherwise while looping through the results of flickr.photos.search I am going to have run off a flickr.people.getInfo on the user_id just to check the username. ta regards, Paul Watson Technical Manager +27 83 302 8874 London, United Kingdom +44 207 610 6010 Cape Town, South Africa +27 21 671 1966 paulw-TOo+ZSFip06H1Tvi1vFFB9BPR1lH4CV8@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.bluegrassgroup.com Software | Websites | Hosting |
