Hi Joe,
The category methods aren't documented yet due to an oversight on my
part. I'm writing up those calls now. For the adventurous:
/categories/list
http://api.evdb.com/rest/categories/list?app_key=test_key
/events/categories/add+remove
http://api.evdb.com/rest/events/categories/add?...&id={event ID}
&category_id=music
http://api.evdb.com/rest/events/categories/remove?...&id={event ID}
&category_id=music
(where ... is user authentication)
The full documentation should be available in the next few days. Let
me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,

On Eventful's website, they require you choose at least one
Category from the drop down lists provided when creating a new
Event. Browsing the API for /events/new I see nothing documented
about Categories. How do I add categories to my user created events
on our website? Is this item specific to Eventfuls site only and
not intended for outsite use?
