Hi:
I am new to this listserv and to CSS.
I was implementing the simple external style sheet for my web page using
Microsoft FrontPage 2000. I can not solve the problem with background image
attribute.
I am using the following string
body {background: url(Bg.gif) white; font-family: verdana}
to set the background image for my web site.
However, it does not upload the picture as a background. I tried different
ways of defining the background attribute:
body {background-image: url (Bg.gif)}
but nothing seems to work.
The only way I can go about my problem is to set background for each page
separatly.
But I am curious if I am doing something wrong?
Did any of you have similar problem?
I would appreciate any advise on this issue.
