  Here is my atempt at a descendent list.

BTW I first did it using tables:

I used Family Origins, a genealogy database program, to generate the
descendent text file.

I'm doing some geneological displays and am doing the usual tree
structure for ancestors and descendants, and I was wondering if anyone
had looked at doing this with CSS - I cant think of any sensible way
to do the displays - certainly each tree-node can be placed fairly
nicely with absolute positioning - but how on earth would you get the
lines connecting the nodes?
