I threw up an example in a tests directory. In the inline style sheet, I use
"@media print {}" to hide the left column with the blue background. In the
external style sheet, I use "@media print {}" to hide the mailing list
information.
When viewed locally on my computer, IE5.5 hides the mailing list info when
not in Print Preview. When viewed on the Internet, IE5.5 will display the
mailing list info until I hit the back button. It will then disappear.
Strange...
In Opera 6.05, IE5.5, and Mozilla 1.0, the left column is hidden when in
Print Preview, but the mailing list info is still displayed.
