inline forms and floating images - two probs: msg#01209

Subject: inline forms and floating images - two probs
Hey everyone,

I've got two problems if anyone has a moment:

[1] would anyone be able to tell me how to display forms inline properly?

If you look at this page in IE6 you'll see how I want the drop downs and
search box to look; and then look in MOZ or NS7 and see what happens.

http://www.1976design.com/testarea/photo/thumbnails.php?

Currently the forms (and the divs that surround the actual input boxes) are
styled to be inline and the div they all sit in is floated right. I've tried
taking the float away in case that was screwing things up, but the drop downs
still display one on top of the other in MOZ.

Also;

[2] This time a problem in IE. When I widen or narrow my browser window the
images are all meant to flow to fill the gaps - all the images are contained
within divs that are floated left.
In IE6 when I widen my browser window the image of the sillouetted church
refuses to move and fill the gap. It will move up to make a line of four
images, or move across to make a line of 2 or 1, but it refuses to shift to
the left to make a line of three (of which it would be the first on the left).

Any ideas? It doesn't happen in moz (I don't think, my moz has suddenly
stopped displaying style sheets, grrrr).

Higgldey-piggldey style sheet can be seen here:

Site still very much work in progress, feel free to have a play, but some
things (like the search box) still need to be refined. Plus I know there's a
JS error on the drop down, damnit.

cheers - dunstan
