Re: a true wiki and NG in debian

Hello there,

indeed, documentation must remain high-quality, but that doesn't 
preclude a nice wiki. As an example, it would've been quite helpful
to have a description of someone who did get NG to build (or even 
work!) on linux. After all, with so many distros around, it is 
difficult to make a howto that fits all. 

Well, I tried compiling the latest revision after installing 
the package suggested by Hermann, but I'm still missing a 
library - some "buildid". And with the instructions on the 
site, I can't get much further. Anyone care to give a push?
