Xine-plugin development gone?

I love the xine-plugin. Its an excellent plugin for firebird(Mozilla) and some video clips. After going through the cvs, I noticed that there hasn't been any development in over 5-6 months. Is xine-plugin now dead? It would be nice to see alot more development with it.

 

Also, it would be nice to get xine-plugin working nicely with flash. Sometimes xine-plugin freezes my browser when flash is on the screen. (even when not playing a clip. If I take out the plugin, it doesn't freeze anymore).
