NetBSD pthread problem: msg#00259video.videolan.vlc.general
I have a big problem with the NetBSD pthreads. On my 1.6.1 it's working fine (the GTK+ GUI is launched) but on my NetBSD 1.6.2 VLC is waiting for thread completion : root $> ./vlc -vvv VLC media player 0.7.1 Bond [00000000] main root debug: VLC media player - version 0.7.1 Bond - (c) 1996-2003 VideoLAN [00000000] main root debug: libvlc was configured with ./configure --disable-utf 8 --disable-dvd --disable-dvdplay --disable-dvdnav --disable-libcdio --disab le-l ibcddb --disable-vcdx --disable-cdda --disable-vcd --disable-a52 --disable-d ts - -disable-speex --disable-freetype --disable-fribidi --disable-fb --disable-o ss - -disable-skins2 --disable-wxwindows --disable-goom --disable-slp --disable-d irec tx --disable-ogg --disable-vorbis --disable-speex --disable-xvideo --disable -ffm peg --enable-gtk [00000001] main vlc debug: translation test: code is "C" [00000001] main vlc debug: checking builtin modules [00000001] main vlc debug: checking plugin modules [00000001] main vlc debug: recursively browsing `modules' [00000001] main vlc debug: recursively browsing `/usr/local/lib/vlc' [00000001] main vlc debug: recursively browsing `plugins' [00000001] main vlc debug: module bank initialized, found 130 modules [00000001] main vlc debug: opening config file /root/.vlc/vlcrc [00000001] main vlc warning: config file /root/.vlc/vlcrc does not exist yet [00000001] main vlc debug: CPU has capabilities 486 586 MMX 3DNow! Then I tried to use the --disable-pth but it doesn't change nothing... ;O( It doesn't seem to be the pthread lib (i tried 1.4.0 and 2.0 without success) So, do you think it's a NetBSD problem or a VLC problem ? What can I do ? Thanks for your help.
