Subject: tv out? - msg#00322
List: video.videolan.vlc.general
Hi
I'im new to vlc, I'm trying to use vlc to play videos files on my tv
I've an ATI rage 128 card with TV out and using the svgalib video driver :
"vlc --vout svgalib some.mpg"
.. I've a got a graphical scrambled lines display on my tv..
I tried to tweak the vertical and horizontal refresh parameter in
svgalib config but it doesn't change anything
Does anyone succeed to use vlc with a tv ??
Please help :)
Thanks
k.

Use videolan behind a router
Good morning,
I use Videolan to watch TV on
demand.
If I connect the modem directly to my LAN
CARD there is no problems, but if I use a router (with static IP)
Videolan doesn't work.
Have you any suggest for me?
Best regards.

reason unknown refuses to use the telnet interface to switch the DVB
channels :-)
Well, now i will finally have to take a look at python...
Thanks
