Summary: ACPI Restore breaks bttv in 2.4.22

Initial Comment:
guillomovitch was reporting problems with bttv in
2.4.22 where it would not show any video and give
errors all over the console.  He discovered today that
disabling ACPI at boot (using acpi=off as a boot
option) fixes the problem.

What's the deal, yo?

Haven't heard any more about this issue, and the Mandrake
bug was closed as it was unconfirmed for too long.  Closing
our bug.
