State of TV Out Patches?

Hi,

I recently noticed that there is some new work done on tv-out-support for 
radeon-cards:

The latest patches don't apply to the (just released) xf86-video-ati-6.6.1. Is 
the author of this page reading this?
(I'll have a look into the patch later today and see if the changes are 
trivial)

Then there's written that it's based on Frederico Ullivi's GPLed work. Is he 
on this list? Has he been asked to relicense his code?
