Subject: Tv-out support for the Radeon IGP 320M?

Hello,

I'm curious to see if anyone has been able to get Tv-out working
properly on an IGP 320M. This is an older laptop Radeon chipset.

In earlier versoins of XFree86, it used to work with the atitvout
command. Later on, that broke, but the VESA driver combined with
atitvout could still get a picture on the tv. In both of these cases,
only the LCD or the TV could be active at one time. In Windows, clone
mode works (obviously).

I installed the latest patches (from here:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127642) for X.org's 6.6.0 ati
driver and was able to load the module, and get *something* on the
screen when I switched to 800x600 -- just garbage, though. Looked like
some sort of sync problem. I tried the advice on Rune's page to no
avail. Does anyone have any more advice?

Thanks.
