Radeon 9000/PRO dual head

Does anyone know if the ati radeon driver will support dual heads with
each head being separate displays and if so what does xorg.conf look
like?  This was supported (at least it worked good enough for my use)
prior to the ATI merge/changes. I can get it to work in both clone and
Xinerama, but not as 2 separate displays. I don't expect to be able to
drag windows across the two screens.
