How to have XV Attributes restored next time Avview is run

Every time I run Avview, I have to set some of the parameters such as 
contrast, brightness, red intensity etc etc. How can I fix it so that these
changes are in effect automatically, the next time Avview is run.
Is there anything I can set in a config file such as avview_state or anything?
