In the meantime I've tried compiling x11-xorg with gatos drivers patched (as described here: http://megahurts.dk/rune/tv_output.html). It compiles, but doesn't work. An error message is in the log file: (II) Reloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/radeon_drv.so (WW) ****INVALID IO ALLOCATION**** b: 0xf0000400 e: 0xf00004ff correcting (EE) end of block range 0xefffffff < begin 0xf0000000 May be it's related. The full Xorg.log is below. I also tried "tvo_set" to setup TV-Out: it didn't report any error - but no output on TV. :( What can I do to help to get working? :) Hope somebody has some tipps to get TV-Out work. In the meantime I'm trying to get it running.... My application requires 3 video cards. The default SuSE (radeon) drivers work fine ... to VGA only. The ATI fglrx drivers output to S-Video ... but crash with more than one video card. My best bet seems to be Gatos. I've been unable to successfully build and execute the standard Xorg on either Suse 9.2 or Suse 9.3. I'm currently trying Xorg 6.2.8.99-15; it builds with no errors - but it doesn't work. Help! QUESTIONS: 1. Has anybody successfully done S-Video output with an ATI 9200SE video card on Suse 9.x? 2.
