Subject: -ss option problem reading vob file

Hi,

-ss option isn't working in an specific vob file I have. This vob file
probably is a little screwed up but transcode can skip portions of it and
both xine and mplayer can play and seek in it so it can't be that screwed
up.

When I try to extract raw audio and video from it I get a really small file
and the following messages:

# /usr/local/ffmpeg-20060425/bin/ffmpeg -y -v 512 -ss 00:00:31 -i
/mnt/temp/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB -f avi -vcodec rawvideo -acodec pcm_s16le

If I take the -ss option out, everything goes well.

I have already mentioned it before (in ffmpeg-devel) and basically I was
told to repost it here so I'm doing it. There was a sample at
ftp.mplayerhq.hu:/MPlayer/incoming/ffmpeg_ss_option. It's called
no-ss_sample.vob. I couldn't upload a description because I'm getting the
following error: put: Access failed: 553 Could not create file.
(no-ss_sample.txt) I am not sure it's still there as I uploaded it April 20.

Does anybody wants to take a look at it? This is not a case of
"please-please-help-me-I-need-to-process-this-file-now-or-I'm-fired". My
issue is already solved, I don't need to reprocess that file. I'm bring it
back just because it might be an oportunity to strengh ffmpeg vob reading.
If nobody wants to look at it, please consider the subject dropped.
