Help with FLV conversion: msg#00180video.ffmpeg.user
I'm having trouble getting some FLV files that I ripped from AOL Music to convert to something a little more commonplace. I'm not interested in re-encoding the file, would love to come up with a method to transcode them properly. First of all, ffmpeg -i file.flv -acodec copy -vcodec copy out.avi creates huuuge overhead, and even mplayer struggles with it. If I try: ffmpeg -i file.flv -acodec copy -vcodec copy out.mov I get a garbled mov, because it thinks the video track has 1000 fps. Plus, Quicktime player has no idea what FLV1 is. Here's my idea, though. Isn't FLV1 the same as Sorenson v3? Is there a way I could write it out to a quicktime file marked as Sorenson, so it could be played everywhere with little problem? Thanks a lot for your time, and it'd be great if replies came to my personal e-mail, since I don't subscribe to the list. []'s Bruno R. Barreyra barreyra@xxxxxxxxxxx |
