bmp/iff/rgb/raw still sequence output?

Hi everybody!

Is it possible to use another fileformat than jpg for still frame 
compression?

ffmpeg -i movie.mpg output/movie_%d.bmp

tells me, that ffmpeg doesn't understand bmp, but it is listed in

ffmpeg -formats


Could I gain bmp/iff/rgb/raw support by using another source for 
compilation?
