build ffmpeg in windows

hi,
I am a newbie. I download the latest cvs version of ffmpeg.In Msys, just 
type:
configure --enable-memalign-hack
make
make install
then I get ffmpeg.exe. it's size is 3005kb. and it runs well.
but i want to use libavcodec in vc project. so I do it as follow:
configure --enable-shared --disable-static --enable-memalign-hack
make
make install
in c:\program files\ffmpeg I get ffmpeg.exe, 68kb, avcodec.dll, 2675kb, 
avformat.dll, 371kb,avutil.dll 14kb, run ffmpeg.exe, it crashes. in the 
bulid directory, ffmpeg.exe 68kb,\libavcodec\avcodec.dll 8537kb, 
\libavformat\avformat.dll 1946kb, \libavutil\avutil.dll 771kb. these three 
dll is different from those in c:\program files\ffmpeg. Copy these three to 
c:\program files\ffmpeg. ffmpeg also crashes.
i looked for in this mail list, some people also met the same question, but 
i did not find the answer. is there anybody knows what is the problem?
