intra frame in mpeg causing degradation: msg#00225video.ffmpeg.user
Hi, Can someone explain me why the image is degrading when using the -intra flag? If I understand, using the -intra flag is supposed to only put the images in my mpeg, and not calculate the delta between the frames. It's like "appending all the jpegs one after the other". Is that right? if you look close enough, at the end of the video, you will see the pictures becoming "pixered"... Any suggestions? Thank you Jean-Francois Steps to reproduce the problem: cp test.jpg 1.jpg cp 1.jpg 2.jpg cp 1.jpg 3.jpg cp 1.jpg 4.jpg cp 1.jpg 5.jpg cp 1.jpg 6.jpg cp 1.jpg 7.jpg cp 1.jpg 8.jpg cp 1.jpg 9.jpg cp 1.jpg 10.jpg cp 1.jpg 11.jpg cp 1.jpg 12.jpg cp 1.jpg 13.jpg cp 1.jpg 14.jpg cp 1.jpg 15.jpg cp 1.jpg 16.jpg cp 1.jpg 17.jpg cp 1.jpg 18.jpg cp 1.jpg 19.jpg cp 1.jpg 20.jpg cp 1.jpg 21.jpg cp 1.jpg 22.jpg cp 1.jpg 23.jpg cp 1.jpg 24.jpg cp 1.jpg 25.jpg ffmpeg -i /tmp/images/%d.jpg -intra /tmp/images/output.mpeg |
