i810 - clipped output: msg#00171video.dri.user
I have an i810 onboard graphics card and DRI works quite well for me. But there is one problem - in some applications many objects seem to be clipped so large parts of them are invisible. Unfortunately the only apps which I've have problems are closed-source, these were MindRover (linux native version) and MusicVR running under winex. I think it's a driver problem because everything works fine (but of course terribly slow) with indirect rendering. I've experimented a bit with the i810_dri driver and noticed that commenting out the contents of i810Scissor makes MindRover look a little bit better. Any ideas? I use XFree86-4.3.0 and kernel 2.4.21pre4 (the same effects on 2.6.0test1) -- : Andrzej Szombierski : anszom@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx : qq@xxxxxxxxxxx : : anszom@xxxxxxxxxxx ::: radio bez kitu <=> http://bezkitu.com : ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
