Slow glxgears result: msg#00160video.dri.user
Hello, I have a laptop with an ATI Radeon Mobility M7 (7500). After installing DRI (glxinfo tells me Direct Rendering is enabled), I get about 600 FPS with glxgears. This seems a little slow to me (the CPU is a Pentium IV 2GHz, and there are 512MB of RAM). I have tried using the drivers from gatos.sf.net, but the result is the same. Is such a low result normal? Without DRI, I get about 200 FPS. Thanks. -- wolf <mailto:wolf.ml@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
