I start , UT2003 , all seems normal at the starting screen , appears the Nvidia Logo, now is a Lottery , it can freeze when the man destroy the Nvidia Logo or it can go ahead , let's suppose that this time it goes ahead. I start my game ( the menu is normal , apart a little glitch in the mouse pointer , but nothing that needs care) , it seems all normal . from the moment when I start the to the freeze I have about 30 seconds, not more. For more details read the answers below 1) X is running at the resolution of 1280x1024@24bit FrameBufferDepth 32bit (but I've tried also 640x480@16 , with this resolution the system have freeze a bit of time later than the usually time.Instead of 30 seconds it freeze after few minutes. If I increase the AGPAperture size (by put "Option "AGPSize" "64"" in my /etc/X11/XF86Config) the time inceases more , but at the end (early or later)it always freeze. 3) No , for now UT2003 is the only OpenGL App that freeze my system. Anyway I've installed my LinuxFromScratch system from short time , and I have tested only few applications , for now I've tried only Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory (that works ok) , Quake3 Arena (that works ok) , UT2003 (That Doesn't work ok) and ,of course, glxgears (that works ok :D ) 5) I don't use "SSH" , so I can't test it (and now I haven't a terminal with doing the test , anyway the system doesn't seems to respond to my commands , but sometimes I've tried to reboot the system cleanly by pressing CTRL+ALT+BKSP and then CTRL+ALT+CANC, the HD starts to work, and the sound of the game , that remained after the freeze, stops , but the system doesn't reboot anyway :/ ) 6) My system is composed by : Athlon 2400+ (not overclocked ) MSI KT4 Ultra (Via KT400) , and my Hercules 3D Prophet FDX 8500LE 7) here my lspci -vvvxx 00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc.
