Same problem with kernel 2.4.21, posted here about a month ago. Still no
solution. Still hoping for a solution I repost my old question:

Since I have a NForce2 chipset I am forced to use a quite new kernel
with an Alan Cox patch in order for agpgart support. I tried several
2.4.21rcX-acY and now reached 2.4.21-ac1. The graphicboard is a Radeon
9700, but it's reported as 9700Pro bei X11...
Every time I check the kernelmodule radeon.o from the DRI-tree, depmod
shows:

root@btakdc2 linux/drm/kernel#depmod -ae
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.21/kernel/drivers/char/drm/radeon.o
depmod: mmu_cr4_features

The stock radeon.o within the kernel tree is ok. The symbol
mmu_cr4_features is defined in /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/kernel/setup.c
but not exported.

The compilation of the whole DRI source didn't produce any error and
finished normally.

Ciao,

Martin
