Error in i830M

After suspend on my ThinkPad, ocassionally I get:

[drm:i830_wait_ring] *ERROR* space: 82888 wanted 131064
[drm:i830_wait_ring] *ERROR* lockup

and my Xfree restarts a new session, I lose everything I had open.  The
strange thing is, it only happens sometimes.  I am running RH 9.0 kernel
2.4.21-ac4.
