devenv.exe (VS2002) Looping at 100% on Check In

Today, I seem to have a plague of cases where devenv loops at 100% when I try to check in a file. I had thought this had something to do with the Vault GUI running at the same time, but I exited the GUI and I'm still having the problem in the IDE.

This is running VS2002 with your patch.

Any ideas? The loop does terminate, but wastes about five minutes per check-in.
