Shadow Folder Problem: msg#00008version-control.sourcegear-vault.user
We have recently migrated our Vault database from the server "vault1" to the cleverly-named server "vault2". After completing the move, I wanted to set up a couple of shadow folders for our company's internal website. I can create the shadow folders just fine using the admin tool, and at creation time the files I expect show up in the disk folder. However, as I change or add files, nothing shows up on disk. Instead we get messages like this in the log: VaultServiceBase.VaultRequestCheckIn returned: Success ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Uploading file. ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled VaultFileUpload.aspx encountered: Success ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Ending transaction ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Creating plugin thread... ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled VaultServiceBase.VaultResponseCheckIn returned: Success ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Retrieved 2 pluginInfos for this type ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Calling plugin at location :https://vault1/VaultShadowFolder/VaultShadowFolderService.asmx ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled EndTxSuccess ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Exception in plugin thread : The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found. ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Exiting plugin thread ----5/11/2004 5:10:35 PM jrhay--liltony2.hytecinc.local(10.25.40.36)--SSL Enabled Getting repository Structure. It looks like the vault server (on vault2) is attempting to call a plugin on vault1, which doesn't exist. I have searched all the config files I can find and don't find any mention of vault1. Any ideas where this is coming from? Thanks, -Jeff --- Jeffrey R. Hay Senior Software Engineer HYTEC Sensors & Imaging Group, Inc.
