F5 causes a repository structure refresh, which updates this single cache file on disk (there's also a file that records the date this happened). This structure information is simply the most recent tree structure in the repository. This structure doesn't contain any information about working folders, checkouts, or source files you have on disk. That information is stored in other files and is not updated by the code executed when you hit F5. Dates on disk files and local/server versions are compared in order to keep the GUI up to date (so the Status column is correct), but they're not needed to update the repository structure. -- Shaw Terwilliger <sterwill@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> SourceGear LLC
