Integration with Microsoft Access 2000

I'm looking for a source control system for a 5-developer team using
Microsoft Access 2000. I've seen some rather disturbing references to
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe - would sourcegear Vault be a sensible choice
for us? I haven't seen any reference to Access in the documentation or on
the site.
