Can labels be excluded while migrating from P4 to CVS?: msg#00000

Subject: Can labels be excluded while migrating from P4 to CVS?
Hi Group,

We are trying to migrate a small portion of a large
Perforce depot into CVS.

The Perforce depot has about 3500 labels and about
three hundred thousand files. We only need to move a
small part of this depot into CVS. This small part
does not have any labels.

I understand from the old posts in this list, that it
takes painfully long time for VCP to read through all
the labels, and can possibly affect the server
performance and may even crash it, so was wondering if
there is a way to bypass the labels altogether.
(ie. tell vcp not to convert labels)

Our Perforce server is Ver 2001.1 running on Solaris 8

The p4 to cvs conversion is being attempted on a
Windows machine and we are using the vcp.exe

Thanks in advance,
