FWIW, arch is being rewritten in C as project TLA, by Tom Lord as well.

I have had a look at arch some time ago, but did not take time to
study it completely.  I remember I read on kernel-traffic
(linux-kernel ml summary) that arch did not store its history in a
DAG, but in a simple tree, like most VC system do (appart from PRCS
and KitBeeper).  Do you have any comments on that ?
