After getting some help from the #C++ IRC channel on freenode, and from
Philip Martin, I was able to build xdelta2 with g++3. There are still rough
edges:
- I did not port xdfssrv to use a recent SFS lib yet
- "xdelta2 retrieve" still segfaults, but this already occured when building
with g++ 2.95. That may be caused by some of my changes pre-dating the g++3
work. I'll investigate that and post a patch if noone does that first.
The initial version of the patch is available at:
http://ydirson.free.fr/soft/misc/xdelta-beta10-gcc3.v1.diff.gz
I'll upload updates in the same dir, incrementing "v1".
