RE: [p4] Check in identical file

Yes, go to the settings->options page. Then go to the changelists section.
Then check the box that says to automatically deselect unchanged files
before submission.

I check out a file and check it back in without any change, perforce create
a new file revision for it.

Is there a way to config perforce to recognize that the file has never been
changed, and just do a uncheck out?
