[p4] 2004.2 specs depot: msg#00219

Subject: [p4] 2004.2 specs depot
Having just upgraded to 2004.2 and switched on the specs
feature, I wondered if anyone had attempted to migrate
any old "specsaver" records of specifications via
checkpoint surgery and if anyone has if they have any
scripts around to help do it?

And one thing I notice from our checkpoints is that
spec depot records don't have checksums. It that
normal or have I got something wrong in my configuration?
