Hi there, I'm evaluating Perforce and mostly it's
great. However I recently installed EZ Trust Antivirus (http://www.my-etrust.com ) and now I'm
getting errors in Perforce. This was one of the antivirus software
products recommended by Microsoft after I upgraded to XP SP2.
If the antivirus software is active, p4win
complains:
Operation:
user-opened
Operation 'dbopen'
failed.
Database open error on
db.protect!
dbopen: db.protect: The process cannot access
the file because it is being used by another process.
If I snooze or turn off the realtime antivirus
protection, everything works as before.
Has anyone else seen this?
Is there another antivirus package that's known to
be compatible w/ Perforce?
