Hi All,
We are using Perforce as our source control in our .NET development using
Visual Studio.Net version 2003.
We encountered a peculiar behavior of Visual Studio.Net when checking-in
new items. Like for example we created a new web form page. When we
check-in this item, we need to hit the check-in button twice before it gets
deployed in the depot. In our first try, the objects that's being
checked-in are the project objects. Also, we noticed that in our first try,
if you will look at the list below of the p4 Submit form window , the
checkbox of the new objects were not "check". Even though you checked these
and click on Ok button, the new objects were still not checked-in.
In our second try, you will notice that the new objects are now "check". If
you hit the Ok button, the new objects were now checked-in.
This behavior is not happening when editing an existing item.
Is this a bug of Visual Studio.Net or Perforce? Is this a behavior by
design? Any other work around to solve this problem?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
George
