I have some possibly good news for you. I just got 'bug in get_extra' when
pulling from the darcs-unstable repo, using darcs 1.0.1. I switched to a
newly compiled darcs 1.0.2 binary, and the pull completed without error.
What version did you have the error with? Perhaps re-trying with a 1.0.2
release candidate will help.
