If they are a darcs wizard, they shouldn't be suprised by that safety
feature. :) They can turn off vc-darcs.el mode and go on.

It hasn't been a problem, but it could become one if editor plugins make
it easy, and don't provide any education/warnings to the user about the
dangers.
