Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Summary: no indexing view

Initial Comment:
I have one general directory in wich all my cvsroots
are. I use a differend one for each project (like
sourceforge) I have some public and some private
projects in there and i would like to disable the
index when viewcvs is called with no parameters, like
sourceforge does, hence hidding non public cvs roots.

How can i do this?

You could do this with your templates. A little tweakage in
directory.ezt should allow to specify that nothing (or
perhaps some error screen) is display if the [where]
variable is empty -- that is, if the URL requested isn't at
least one directory level deep.

I'm closing this issue. Re-open (with explanation) if the
workaround doesn't "work around" the problem. :-)

We don't have a feature for this right now, although it
definitely be good.

I'm not sure when I might code something like this, but a
patch is always welcome.
