CVS fails on Win2K: msg#00195version-control.cvs.tortoisecvs.user
Hello, on one of our computers (all TCVS 1.8.3, all the same config, all Win2K, all SP's, no virusses according to Trendmicro housecall) CVS suddenly stopped working. I can do a CVS-checkout without problems, but when I then do a CVS update on the same folder I get the following message cvs [server aborted]: cannot find .: No such file or directory Error, CVS operation failed Error, one of the CVS operations failed And: When I copy a folder containing a project from a "good" computer to the bad one, a lot of files suddenly appear red (changed). I tried to copy a zip-file of the folder to the bad machine, but after unzipping it looks the same. Any idea what could be happening here? (I just don't want to re-install the complete machine) Thanks, Ralf S. ------------------------------------------------------- This Newsletter Sponsored by: Macrovision For reliable Linux application installations, use the industry's leading setup authoring tool, InstallShield X.
