Now, one more question if possible. Correct ?
Correct.


Keep in mind that CVS does NOT work like SourceSafe etc. I am not the
expert on either, but the big difference with CVS is that you as
developer have a full copy of a project (sandbox)
This actually applies for nearly all version control systems, including SourceSafe.
