I just looked at those entries.

I had expected to see more comments about the technical
details/problems of implementing this. The entries mostly talked
about if it was possible to add more icons.

I'm just curious: apart from that issue with icons are there any
other implementation difficulties to overcome or
implementation choices to make ?

I can imagine that it would be difficult to maintain the extra info
needed about new revisions available on the server for example.
And perhaps a need for changed format for some of the adminsitrative
files on the client side, etc.
