You can only append new revisions to the end of a branch - you cannot change
individual revisions.

If you want to commit the file to the HEAD branch, you have to remove the
sticky tag first. CVS->Update Special->Return to HEAD branch does that. Then
you can overwrite your file with the new version and commit.

You can also create a branch based on ver1. To do that, select CVS->Branch,
and then use CVS->Update Special to update to that branch before committing.

For further information about revisions and branches, I recommend the CVSNT
documentation at www.cvsnt.org

SSH Key authentication Help Request

Hi all,   I've recently started to use tcvs for the project i'm assisting with on sourceforge. I have downloaded pageant as per the user guide suggestion, generated my ssh2 dsa based private/public key. Put the public key on my sourceforge account, its been over 24 horus since so my key should have propagated.   Under SSH in the preference section, I have set it to use TortoisePlinkSSH2.bat. At first it was still asking me for my password so I edited TortoisePlinkSSH2.bat to have pageant fire it up with the follow line   @c:\progra~1\tortoi~1\pageant \my\path\to\private\key -c c:\progra~1\tortoi~1\tortoiseplink -2 %1 %2 .... %9   Then I fired up pageant first with the following via cmd   pageant \my\path\to\private\key   Then tried to do a CVS add   I get 2 tortoiseplink windows popping up and after a while just get a CVS operation failed.   What exactly am I doing wrong?   I tried to do a search on the mailing list archives but cannot find the search link.. where the hell is it?   Rgds Warren
