WinCVS and NtServer: msg#00283

Subject: WinCVS and NtServer
Hi,

I'm new to WinCVS but have used CVS in a linux environment before. I
have a few machines that I'd like to give access to files on a machine
running Win2K. The rest of the machines that need to access these files
are running WinXP.

So for now I'll give them these names:

Server = Win2K Machine
XP1 = WinXP Machine 1
XP2 = WinXP Machine 2

What all do I need to install on the various machines?

This is what I assume, please let me know if I'm correct or not?

Server - First Install Ntserver, then install WinCVS, Python, ActiveTcl
and any other preferred editors or file compare utils.

XP1 - WinCVS, Python, ActiveTCL etc.
XP2 - WinCVS, Python, ActiveTCL etc.

Assuming this is correct (I've installed nothing so far), then what is
the next step? I assume that I have to configure the Server as a server
machine in the WinCVS preferences and then configure the XP machines to
look at the Server machine?

Finally assuming the above is correct, is it simple enough just to
follow Section 4 of the User Guide to set up both my Server and XP
machines?

Thanks for you help
Sean
